J.E. Anzalone has been arrested, hit by a car, and held hostage at gunpoint. He was the lead singer of a heavy metal band in the 80s, the guitarist of a punk band in the 90s, and, for the past 17 years, he is a member of a world famous disco band that has sold over 100 million records. He's been a super hero and a 70s icon, he's played bingo with Cher in Des Moines and was pointedly rude to Pink at a party in Sydney—sorry, Pink, I was drunk—but J.E. Anzalone has never written a novel...until now.

J.E. Anzalone (a.k.a. Eric) is best known as one of the Village People—he replaced Glenn Hughes in 1995 as “The Biker” in the disco super group. Outside of the VP, he has appeared on stages around the world in various capacities—including playing the role of Berger in the European Tour of HAIR, as the guitarist in the NYC based punk band SiR, and as a singer for Princess Cruises. From 1991-93 Eric starred as Donatello in the world tour of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Coming Out of Our Shells, and later as Raphael in the specials A Turtles' Christmas and Turtle Tunes, and in various TV programs, including Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous. He studied music and theatre at the University of Miami, FL and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Film and Media from Arizona State University in May 2012. Eric has a 13 year old daughter, and, though he spends over 200 days a year on the road, he calls NJ home.
